UNDER 8'S DAY (16TH MAY 2023)
On the morning of May 16th, IAS Kindergarten through Year 3 students celebrated Under 8's Day despite the rainy weather.
The event emphasized the importance of early childhood learning and development, with a focus on the theme of "PLAY: You, Me & our Community."
Year 4-6 students helped guide the younger students through a variety of activities, each highlighting the importance of individual and collective contributions to the community.
The students particularly enjoyed making animals out of coloured clay and playing in the goopy chia seed slime. The staff were impressed by the beautiful community gardens made from paper flowers, which are now proudly displayed on the notice board in front of the office.
Overall, it was a fun and educational morning filled with creativity and discovery.
