TWEENS & SCREENS PARENTING SEMINAR WITH REAL TALK (15TH MAY 2023)
We recently facilitated the 'Tweens & Screens' parent seminar where we learned about the latest trends and statistics on children's use of technology.
Our guide for the evening was Kristen Roe from Real Talk, who provided us with valuable insights on how to effectively communicate with children about digital awareness while implementing a layered approach to keep them safe on their devices as they grow.
The seminar was filled with practical tools for safe online practices, including gaming, social media, and how to tackle issues like peer pressure and cyberbullying. Real Talk is a trusted eSafety provider with the eSafety Commissioner and has a wealth of resources available on their website to support families on this topic.
