IAS VALUES ARTWORK (19TH APRIL 2023)
Have you seen the latest artwork displayed in the school office?
We invite you to come and look at our latest art pieces.
Displayed on the office wall are our ‘IAS Values’ depicting aboriginal artwork by Mulunjahli artist Sherry Currie (aunty Sherrie). The paintings compliment the Spirit of IAS display on the adjoining wall.
Aunty Sherry also painted the ‘Days of Creation’ artwork series located in the school Library.
IAS is blessed to have the opportunity of working together with our Indigenous community regarding the importance of establishing and building relationships for understanding, reconciliation and growth.
We respectfully acknowledge the Jagara nation who are the traditional custodians of the land where IAS now stands. We pay tribute to Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge the important role they play within our learning community.
